Al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, he said: Ja'far ibn Burqan narrated to us, he said: Ayyub ibn Rashid narrated to me, from Wahb ibn Munabbih, who said: We find in the revealed Book of Allah: People who practice religion for other than worship, seeking the world with the deeds of the Hereafter. They wear the clothing of sheepskins, while their hearts are like the hearts of wolves. Their tongues are sweeter than honey, and their souls are more bitter than aloe. He said: Are they being deceived by Me, and are they trying to trick Me? I swear that I shall surely spread over them a trial in which the forbearing person will become bewildered.
