Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:1438

Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, he said: Sulayman ibn al-Mughirah narrated to us, from Humayd ibn Hilal, from al-Ala’ ibn Ziyad al-Adawi, who said: I saw in a dream as if I were seeing an old, one-eyed woman, with a large eye, and the other had almost gone, adorned with chrysolite and jewelry, a wondrous thing. I said: "Who are you?" She said: "I am the world (al-dunya)." I said: "I seek refuge in Allah from your evil." She said: "If it pleases you that Allah protects you from my evil, then hate the dirham."
