Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:1467

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from 'Asim, from Abu Qilabah, who said: Two men met in the marketplace. One of them said to his companion, "O my brother, come, let us supplicate to Allah and seek His forgiveness while the people are heedless, perhaps He will forgive us." So they did so. It was decreed for one of them that he died before his companion. He came to him in a dream and said, "O my brother, did you realize that Allah forgave us on the evening we met in the marketplace?"
