Muhammad ibn Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr narrated to us, from Umar ibn Sa'id ibn Abi Husayn al-Makki, who said: Abd Allah ibn Abi Mulaykah narrated to me, from Uqbah ibn al-Harith, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) departed quickly from the Asr prayer. The people were surprised by his haste. He came out to them, and he recognized what was on their faces, so he said: "I remembered some gold that was in our house, and I feared that it would remain with us overnight, so I ordered its distribution."
