'Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us, from 'Ubaydullah ibn Sa'id al-Ju'fi, who said: 'Isa ibn Maryam said: "My house is the mosque, my perfume is water, my condiment is hunger, and my inner garment is fear. My mount is my two feet. My place to warm myself in the winter is where the sun rises in the summer, my lamp at night is the moon, and my companions are the chronically ill and the poor. I reach the evening and I have nothing, and I reach the morning and I have nothing, yet I am in a state of goodness. So who is richer than I?"
