Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:149

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Fudayl ibn Ghazwan, from Nafi’, from Ibn ‘Umar, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) came to Fatimah and found a curtain on her door, so he did not enter. It was said: And he rarely used to enter without beginning with her. Then ‘Ali came and saw her looking concerned, so he said: "What is the matter with you?" She said: "The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) came to me but did not enter." So ‘Ali went to him and said: "O Messenger of Allah, it weighed heavily upon Fatimah that you came to her but did not enter upon her." He said: "What do I have to do with the world? Or what do I have to do with embroidery?" He said: So he went to Fatimah and informed her of the statement of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). She said: "Tell the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace): What do you command me to do with it?" He said: "Tell her to send it to the family of so-and-so."
