Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:1496

Muhammad ibn Abd Allah al-Asadi narrated to us, he said: Isra’il narrated to us, from Abu Husayn, from Khaythama, who said: Jesus, son of Mary, and John were maternal cousins. Jesus used to wear wool, and John used to wear camel hair. Neither of them possessed a dinar, nor a dirham, nor a male slave, nor a female slave, nor a shelter to which they could retreat; wherever the night overtook them, they would take shelter. When they intended to part ways, John said to him, "Advise me." He said, "Do not get angry." He said, "I cannot [help but] get angry." He said, "Do not acquire wealth." He said, "As for this, perhaps."
