Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:150

Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from al-Hasan, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to the house of his daughter Fatima and saw a curtain hung up, so he returned. He said: Then Ali came to him and said, "Have I not been informed that you came to your daughter but did not enter?" He said: He replied, "Did I not see that she has covered her house with an expenditure that should have been in the way of Allah?" It was said to al-Hasan, "And what was that curtain?" He said: A Bedouin-style patterned cloth worth four dirhams, which she used to hang in the back of the house.
