Hadith 33:160
Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Wahb, from Abu Dharr, who said: A man stood up while the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was delivering a sermon and said: "O Messenger of Allah, the hyena (drought/famine) has consumed us." The people pushed him until he fell. Then he stood up again and called out with his voice. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) turned to him and said: "What I fear for you more than that is that the world will be poured upon you in abundance. So, I wish that my nation would not wear gold." I said to Zayd: "What is the hyena?" He said: "The drought."
حدثنا محمد بن فضيل عن زيد بن وهب عن أبي ذر قال قام رجل ورسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يخطب فقال يا رسول الله أكلتنا الضبع قال فدفعه الناس حتى وقع ثم قام أيضا فنادى بصوته ثم التفت إليه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال أخوف عليكم عندي من ذلك أن تصب عليكم الدنيا صبا فليت أمتي لا تلبس الذهب فقلت لزيد ما الضبع قال السنة
