Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:184

Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from al-‘Ala’ ibn al-Musayyab, from al-Hasan, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "There are no two drops more beloved to Allah than a drop in His path, or a drop of tears that fell from the eye of a man standing in the middle of the night out of fear of Allah. And there are no two gulps more beloved to Allah than a sorrowful, painful gulp that its possessor repelled with beautiful patience and consolation, or a gulp of rage that he suppressed."
