Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:196

Waki’ narrated to us, from Kathir ibn Zayd, from al-Harith ibn Abi Yazid, from Jabir ibn ‘Abd Allah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Indeed, among the happiness of a person is that his life is prolonged, and Allah provides him with the ability to turn in repentance to Him."
