Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:198

Waki’ narrated to us, from Talha bin Yahya, who said: Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Talha narrated to me, from Abdullah bin Shaddad, who said: Three men from the tribe of Udhra came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and accepted Islam. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Who will take care of them for me?" Talha said: "I will." So they were with me. Then, the Prophet sent out an expedition, and one of them went out and was martyred. Then he sent out another expedition, and the second one went out in it and was martyred. Then the third one remained until he died sick on his bed. Talha said: I saw in a dream as if I had entered Paradise, and I saw them, recognizing them by their names and their features. I saw that the one who died on his bed entered first, and the second of the martyrs was behind him, and the first of them was the last of them. I was troubled by that, so I came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and mentioned that to him. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "There is no one better in the sight of Allah than a person who lives long in Islam, for his saying 'La ilaha illa Allah' (tahlil), 'Allahu Akbar' (takbir), 'Subhan Allah' (tasbih), and 'Alhamdulillah' (tahmid)."
