Al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, from Zuhayr, from Ali ibn Zayd, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakra, from his father, who said: A man came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "Which of the people is best?" He said: "He whose life is long and whose deeds are good." He said: "Which of the people is worst?" He said: "He whose life is long and whose deeds are evil."
