Shababa ibn Sawwar narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Asim ibn 'Ubayd Allah, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amir, he said: I saw 'Umar ibn al-Khattab take a piece of straw from the ground. He said: "I wish I were this straw. I wish I had not been anything. I wish my mother had not given birth to me. I wish I had been a thing forgotten."
