Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:284

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Layth, from Mujahid, from Abdullah ibn Sakhbarah, from Ali, who said: There is no one in Kufa who has reached the morning except that he is in comfort, and the lowest of them in status is he who eats wheat, sits in the shade, and drinks from the water of the Euphrates.
