Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-Sari ibn Yahya, from al-Hasan, who said: Abdullah said: "If I were to stand between Paradise and the Fire, and it were said to me: 'We will inform you of which of the two you will be, [and that would be] more beloved to you, or [that you would] be ashes,' I would have chosen to be ashes."
