Abu Usama narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Sulaym, from Thabit, who said: Dawud, the Prophet of Allah, when the punishment of Allah was mentioned, his joints would become dislocated, and nothing would hold them together except for leather straps. Then, when the mercy of Allah was mentioned, they would return to their place.
