Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:341

Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu al-Ahwas, who said: Abdullah said: "Do not contend with this night, for you will not be able to endure it. So if one of you becomes drowsy, let him sleep on his bed, for it is safer."
