Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:350

Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu al-Duha, from Masruq, who said: A drink was brought to Abdullah. He said, "Give it to Alqama." He said, "I am fasting." He then said, "Give it to al-Aswad." He said, "I am fasting." He continued until he had passed by all of them. Then he took it and drank it. Then he recited this verse: "They fear a Day in which the hearts and the eyes will turn about."
