Hadith 33:353
Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Zubayd, from Murrah, from Abdullah, who said: "Indeed, Allah gives the world to those whom He loves and to those whom He does not love, but He does not give faith except to those whom He loves. So, when Allah loves a servant, He gives him faith. Therefore, whoever among you is too cowardly to endure the night, or too afraid to struggle against the enemy, or too stingy to spend wealth, let him frequently say: 'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to Allah), 'Al-hamdu lillah' (Praise be to Allah), 'La ilaha illa Allah' (There is no god but Allah), and 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the Greatest)."
