Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:385

Ya'la ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, he said: Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid narrated to us, from a man, from Muhammad ibn Wasi', who said: Abu al-Darda' said to his son: "O my son, let the mosque be your house, for I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: 'The mosques are the houses of the God-fearing. Whoever makes the mosque his house, Allah guarantees him comfort, mercy, and passage over the Sirat (bridge) to Paradise.'"
