Abu Usama narrated to us, from ‘Awn, from Abu ‘Uthman, who said: Salman al-Farisi said to me: "The marketplace is the place where Satan lays his eggs and hatches his brood. So, if you are able not to be the first to enter it and not the last to leave it, then do so."
