Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:457

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Mujahid, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Abu Dharr, who said: "By Allah, if you knew what I know, you would weep much and laugh little. And if you knew what I know, you would not find pleasure with your women, nor would you remain settled upon your beds. You would have gone out to the high roads, crying out and weeping. By Allah, I wish that Allah had created me on the day He created me as a tree that is cut down and its fruit is eaten."
