Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:5

Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn ‘Ajlan, from Muhammad ibn Ya‘qub, who said: ‘Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus, son of Mary) said: Do not increase speech without the remembrance of Allah, for your hearts will harden. Indeed, the hardened heart is far from Allah, but you do not know. Do not look at the sins of the servants as if you were lords; rather, look at your own sins. For people are only two types: one afflicted and one spared. So show mercy to the people of affliction, and praise Allah for the well-being.
