Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:507

Shababa ibn Sawwar narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to me, he said: al-Qasim narrated to us, he said: I heard Abu Umamah saying: "Recite the Quran. Do not let these suspended copies (mus-hafs) deceive you, for indeed Allah does not punish a heart that has contained the Quran."
