Hussain bin Ali narrated to us, from Ja'far bin Burqan, from Maymun bin Mihran, who said: I heard al-Dahhak bin Qays saying: Remember Allah during ease, and He will remember you during hardship. For Yunus was a righteous servant who remembered Allah, so when he fell into the belly of the whale, Allah said: "Had he not been of those who glorify Allah, he would have remained in its belly until the Day they are resurrected." And Pharaoh was a tyrannical servant who forgot the remembrance of Allah, so when the drowning overtook him, he said: "I believe that there is no deity except that in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of the Muslims. Now? And you had disobeyed before and were of the corrupters."
