Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Ibrahim ibn Hammam, from Hudhayfah, who said: He used to enter the mosque and stand over the circles and say: "O assembly of reciters, follow the path; for if you follow it, you have indeed preceded with a far-reaching precedence. And if you take to the right or to the left, you have indeed strayed with a far-reaching straying."
