Al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, from Sufyan, from ‘Ata’ ibn al-Sa’ib, from Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Musa, who said: When Iblis enters the morning, he sends out his soldiers. He says [to one], "I did not cease with him until he drank [alcohol]." He says, "You [are the one]." He says [to another], "I did not cease with him until he committed adultery." He says, "You [are the one]." He says [to another], "I did not cease with him until he killed." He says, "You [are the one]."
