Abu Khalid narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from Abu Burdah, who said: My father sent me to Medina. He said: "Join the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), ask them, and know that I will ask you." So I met Ibn Salam, and he was a humble man.
