Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:602

Abdullah bin Numayr narrated to us, he said: Hisham bin Urwah informed us, from his father, from Abdullah bin al-Zubayr, who said regarding [the verse]: "Take to forgiveness," he said: "It is what passes by you of the people's character." And by Allah, I shall certainly take to it regarding them as long as I accompany them.
