Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:606

Muhammad ibn Abd Allah al-Asadi narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Yunus, from al-Hasan, from Ubayy, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, who said: "Indeed, the food of the son of Adam is set as a parable; even its salt and its seasoning, [it is known] to what it becomes."
