Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:630

Khalaf ibn Khalifah narrated to us, from Sayyar, from Abu Wa'il, who said: I and my brother set out to Ar-Rabi' ibn Khuthaym, and he was sitting in the mosque. He said, "What brought you?" They said, "We came so that you may remember Allah, and we remember Him with you, and you praise Allah, and we praise Him with you." He raised his hands and said, "Praise be to Allah who did not make you say, 'We came so that you may drink, and we drink with you,' nor 'We came so that you may commit adultery, and we commit adultery with you.'"
