Abu Usama narrated to us, he said: Al-A’mash narrated to us, he said: ‘Umarah narrated to us, he said: We went out with the family of Shurayh ibn Hani’ to Makkah, and he went out with us to see us off. He said: Among what he said to us was, "Hasten your journey, for your mounts will not avail you anything against Allah. And there is nothing a man loses of the world that is easier for him than his own self, which he leaves behind." ‘Umarah said: I have never recalled this statement of his without benefiting from it.
