Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:752

Narrated to us Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad al-Muharibi, from Layth, from Mujahid, from Yazid ibn Shajara, who said: There is no dead person who dies until his companions are represented to him at the time of his death. If they were people of amusement, then [they are] people of amusement, and if they were people of remembrance, then [they are] people of remembrance.
