Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Mujahid, from Ubayd ibn Umayr, who said: Indeed, a man from his people would meet Nuh and strangle him until he fell unconscious. He said: Then he would regain consciousness and say, "My Lord, forgive my people, for they do not know."
