Hadith 33:857

Isma'il ibn 'Ulayyah narrated to us, from Abu Makhzum, who said: 'Umar ibn Abi al-Walid narrated to me, saying: 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz went out on the day of Friday, and he was emaciated in body. He delivered a sermon as he used to deliver sermons, then he said: "O people, whoever among you does good, let him praise Allah, and whoever does evil, let him seek the forgiveness of Allah. For it is inevitable that people must perform deeds which Allah has placed upon their necks and written against them."
