Affan narrated to us, he said: Ja'far ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Malik ibn Dinar, he said: Someone who saw 'Amir ibn 'Abd Qays narrated to me that he called for oil, and he poured it into his hand—Ja'far described it like this—and he wiped one of them over the other. Then he said: "And a tree issuing from Mount Sinai that produces oil and a condiment for those who eat." He said: Then he anointed his head and his beard with it.
