'Affan narrated to us, he said: Hammad narrated to us, from Thabit, that Mutarrif used to say: "If a man saw game, and the game did not see him, and he stalked it, would he not be likely to catch it?" They said: "Yes." He said: "For indeed, Satan sees us while we do not see him, and he strikes us."
