Affan narrated to us, he said: Ja'far ibn Sulayman narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us, from Hafsa bint Sirin, she said: Mawraq used to visit us, and he visited us one day and greeted, so I returned the greeting to him. She said: Then he asked me and I asked him. I said: "How is your family and how are your children?" He said: "They are indeed numerous." I said: "Then praise your Lord." He said: "I, by Allah, have feared that they might detain me for [their] destruction."
