Affan narrated to us, he said: Hammad narrated to us, from Thabit, that Safwan ibn Muhriz had a private room of his, in which there was a supporting pillar. The pillar broke, so it was said to him, "Will you not repair it?" He said, "Leave it, for I shall only die tomorrow."
