Marwan ibn Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Mansur ibn Hayyan, from al-Qasim ibn Abi Bazzah, who said: I heard Ibn Munabbih say: "We find in the Books that Allah says: 'O son of Adam, as long as you worship Me and hope in Me, I will forgive you for what has passed. It is a right upon Me that I do not lead My servant astray while he is eager for guidance, and I am the Judge.'"
