Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:993

Yahya ibn Yaman narrated to us, from Abu al-Ashhab, from al-Hasan, who said: They are forbearing if ignorance is shown toward them; they do not act foolishly. This is their day, so how is their night? They are the best of people at night, letting their tears flow down their cheeks and standing with their feet aligned, seeking from Allah the freeing of their necks.
