Waki’ narrated to us, from Fitr, from Mundhir, from Ibn al-Hanafiyyah, who said: I charged at a man on the day of the Camel. When I went to stab him, he said, "I am upon the religion of Ali ibn Abi Talib." So I recognized what he intended, and I left him.
