Hadith 38:37

Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Abu Malik al-Ashja‘i informed us, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja‘d, from Muhammad ibn al-Hanafiyyah, who said: We were in the mountain pass (al-shi‘b), and we used to criticize Uthman. When one day came, we went to excess. Abdullah ibn Abbas turned to me, and I said to him: "O Abu Abbas, do you remember the evening of the Battle of the Camel? I was to the right of Ali, and you were to his left, when we heard the cry from the direction of Medina." Ibn Abbas said: "Yes, the one which so-and-so son of so-and-so was sent with, and he informed him that he found the Mother of the Believers, Aisha, standing in the al-Mirbad, cursing the killers of Uthman." Ali said: "May Allah curse the killers of Uthman in the plains, the mountains, the land, and the sea." I was to the right of Ali, and this one [Ibn Abbas] was to his left, and I heard it from his mouth to my ear, and Ibn Abbas [heard it too]. By Allah, I have not criticized Uthman from that day to this day.
