Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 38:72

Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Sharik narrated to us, from al-Aswad ibn Qays, he said: Someone who saw al-Zubayr piercing horses with a spear—piercing them—narrated to me. Then Ali called out to him, "O Abdullah! O Abdullah!" He said: So he approached until the necks of their mounts met. He said: Then Ali said to him, "I adjure you by Allah, do you remember the day the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came to us while I was whispering to you, and he said: 'Are you whispering to him? By Allah, he will surely fight you one day, and he will be the oppressor toward you'?" He said: So al-Zubayr struck the face of his mount and turned away.
