Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 18:1076

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, that Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz ordered that we pay the blood money (diya) for the *mudihah* (a wound that exposes the bone).
