Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 18:1167

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ali bin Mushir narrated to us, from Sa’id, from Qatadah, from Khallas, from Ali: That two men came to Ali and testified against a man that he had stolen, so he cut off his hand. Then they brought another man and said, "It is this one." He said: So he accused them regarding this one, and he made them liable for the blood money (diyah) of the first one.
