Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Salam narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from al-Hakam and Hammad, regarding the common man who sprinkles water in front of his door, and a person passes by him and slips and is harmed. Hammad said: He is liable. And al-Hakam said: He is not liable.
