Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Mu'adh ibn Mu'adh narrated to us, from 'Awf, he said: I witnessed 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Udhaynah cut a man twice on his head, then he imprisoned the one who sought retaliation until he looked at the one from whom retaliation was sought. He said: And Ibn Sirin used to disapprove of this imprisonment.
