Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 18:1204

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hafs narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Ibrahim, that he passed by Ibn Muk'bar, and Ziyad had cut off his hands and his feet. He said: I heard Abdullah saying: "Indeed, the most restrained of people in killing are the people of faith."
